What we check, country by country
Coverage isn’t identical everywhere — some registries are open, some charge per extract, and a few things (like beneficial owners in several countries) are closed to the public by law. We show you exactly what the €49 dossier can and can’t verify for a supplier in each country, before you order. What we can’t check is stated in the dossier too — never quietly dropped.
36 of 40 checks available
Entity & registry
- Registry identity and status
- Registered address profile
- Share capital versus scale
- Board identity and term
- Supervisory-council names
- Shareholder and ownership
- Registered ultimate beneficial owner
- Parent registry and group link
- LEI status — GLEIF returned no LEI for the subject and the apparent Octopod matches were unrelated; no LEI record is available to check
- VAT registration (VIES)
Sanctions
- Subject company sanctions screen
- Parent-company sanctions screen
- UBO sanctions screen
- Officer sanctions screen
- Related-person sanctions screen
- PEP and watchlist screen — pending sanctions/PEP data license
- National sanctions dataset
Courts & insolvency
- Insolvency proceedings register
- Liquidation status
- Securing measures and suspensions — The Registry Agency current-state view returned no share distraint, but bailiff and NRA enforcement actions are not centrally searchable by party
- Commercial pledges — The ЦРОЗ JSON inquiry returned pledge existence and roles, but the creditor/amount deed detail is e-signature/ПИК-gated
- Litigation by party name — The general legalacts court search requires an image CAPTCHA, so unattended party-name litigation was not run; the keyless KZK result covers only competition matters
Certificates
- ISCC current certificate
- ISCC chain continuity
- Pre-ISCC sustainability certificate history
- GMP+ FSA status
- GMP+ scope and validity dates
- Certificate entity disambiguation
- Trade-body memberships and directories — Public Bulgarian association material was checked, but GAFTA is login-gated and no subject membership was claimed on a controlled page
- Certificate audit-body verification — The ISCC recognised-CB list was checked through a free public portal; no public API was available for this verification
Financial filings
- Accounts filed
- Recent financial results
- Filing discipline and timeliness
- Tax debt — The NRA debtor-list portal returned the result after an interactive reCAPTCHA step; absence from the criteria-based list does not prove no arrears
- Taxpayer rating — Bulgaria has no public taxpayer-rating/reliability instrument; reported as not checkable
- Press figures reconciled against filings — Press was searched per order and datable group facts were reconciled against public filings and regulatory records
Web & trade presence
- Website claims versus filings — No functioning corporate website exists; octopod.eu is a parking/default page, so there are no subject website claims to reconcile
- Domain and web-history continuity — Wayback captures exist but all sampled pages are parking pages, and EURid WHOIS is JS/anti-bot-gated; domain history is therefore thin
- Independent trade presence and claims — ISCC, GMP+, directories, port records and sector press were swept per order; shipment databases remain out of scope
- Independently visible market scale — Market scale was inferred per order from filed accounts and press; no lawful shipment-level public source exists
✓ Verified against an official source◐ available with a stated limit / retrieved per order○ Not publicly checkable here — stated in the dossier
